Grants Administrator

To support the Infectious Disease Division, the full-time remote Grants Administrator will manage grant submissions, perform budget forecasting, monitor fund statements, and serve as a liaison to grantor agencies while resolving accounting issues. Key responsibilities Process and prepare research grant proposals, awards, and transactions, ensuring compliance with institutional and sponsor guidelines Assist with budget preparations and financial reporting materials, while monitoring expenditures for budgetary compliance Act as the primary resource for department administrators and Principal Investigators, managing an assigned portfolio of research departments Required qualifications Associate's Degree in Financial Management or a related field required; Bachelor's Degree preferred 1-2 years of research administration experience required Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and accounting applications Good working knowledge of research agency and sponsor funding guidelines Ability to work independently and manage large financial data sets accurately
