Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Supervisor - Water Damage Restoration to lead emergency restoration operations for residential and commercial properties. This role is responsible for supervising field crews, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards, and delivering exceptional customer service during challenging situations.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong restoration expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced emergency response environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct restoration technicians during water mitigation and restoration projects.
• Oversee emergency response activities, including water extraction, structural drying, demolition, cleanup, and mitigation services.
• Assign daily work tasks, monitor crew performance, and ensure projects are completed on schedule and within company standards.
• Conduct on-site inspections to verify quality workmanship, safety compliance, and adherence to company procedures.
• Coordinate the efficient use of equipment, materials, and company vehicles.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on job sites, providing updates and addressing questions or concerns professionally.
• Maintain clear, empathetic communication with property owners during stressful situations.
• Document all project activities, including moisture readings, photographs, equipment logs, and daily reports.
• Assist with insurance-related documentation and collaborate with adjusters to support the claims process.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to promote safety, accountability, and professional development.
• Work closely with office staff, estimators, and management to ensure seamless project coordination.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and workplace safety requirements.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support 24/7 emergency response services as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in water damage restoration, mitigation, construction, or a related field.
• Previous supervisory or crew leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of water extraction techniques, structural drying procedures, moisture monitoring, and restoration best practices.
• Experience managing customer expectations and providing excellent service during emergency situations.
• Familiarity with insurance claims documentation and working with adjusters is preferred.
• Understanding of job costing, budgeting, and project profitability is considered an asset.
• IICRC certifications such as WRT, ASD, AMRT, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment, work in damp or confined environments, and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and after-hours emergencies when required.
