Schedule

DAYS - 12HR: 3A-3P / 7A-7P rotation with a commitment of 36 hours per week. Weekend requirement includes one weekend shift per contracted week or two weekend shifts every other weekend. Must work at least one holiday per contract.

This is a 16-week contract position.

Job Description

Join a large, high-acuity Emergency Department with 80 treatment spaces in a modern environment. Collaborate with an experienced and supportive team focused on high-quality patient care, including specialized geriatric emergency care as the area’s first ACEP accredited geriatric ED.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist in geriatric emergency care and other specialized needs.
• Participate in departmental initiatives aimed at improving patient care and safety.

Required Experience & Certifications

• Minimum of 2 years recent nursing experience in an Emergency Department.
• 2 years of U.S. work history required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active NY RN license is required.
• NIH Stroke Certification and AHA BLS certification are mandatory.
