Job Summary:
The emergency room registered nurse (RN) position is located in Easton, Maryland within a dynamic emergency department setting. This role involves providing high-quality patient care across all age groups, from infants to geriatrics, in a fast-paced environment that handles complex diagnoses and diverse patient needs. Candidates are required to bring their active Maryland or Compact state license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating Day and Mid shifts from 07:00 to 19:30 and 11:00 to 23:30; 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license for Maryland or a Compact state, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) or AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics) preferred, two years of experience in Emergency Room settings, Epic electronic medical record experience, a minimum of two years of charge experience, and experience managing patient ratios of four or more.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level II experience, community hospital experience, LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) experience, and prior travel experience.
• Additional Information: Candidates should be comfortable with clinical responsibilities including care of ventilated patients, blood product administration, managing multisystem organ failure, mental/behavioral health conditions, and complex emergency procedures. Vaccinations required per scheduled needs, including flu vaccines.
• Client Requirements: Must meet all certification standards; compliance with onboarding requirements within five days prior to start; and be prepared to work within the specified patient care protocols and schedules.
