MS-IL Staffing & Packaging, and its local client, are NOW HIRING a 1st shift Facility  Porter in the Lebanon, Indiana, area!

Pay: $21.00 / hour

Shift: 1st, 6:00am-2:30pm, Wednesday to Sunday

 

Job Summary

Every employee serves as a custodian first. We work together to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming facilities while living our core values of Safety, Sustainability, Social Impact, and Awesomeness.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors.
  • Restock soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other supplies.
  • Empty trash and maintain facility cleanliness.
  • Report safety hazards and maintenance issues.
  • Provide friendly service to employees, visitors, and team members.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • At least 1 year of janitorial or cleaning experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of cleaning equipment and safety procedures.

Physical Requirements :

  • Stand and walk throughout the shift.
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 lbs.; occasionally up to 35 lbs.
  • Bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
  • Work in varying temperatures and around approved cleaning chemicals.
  • Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
