Supply Chain Program Manager

IT Program Manager

Hiring 2 contractors until April 2025. Open to see candidates with 3-6 years of experience. One will be supporting the Seismic Project. One will support the Kinaxis project. Both need to be very strong Agile transformation PMs. Agile Methodology not so much coach – an example of transformation form waterfall to agile – have full scoop of hands on program management – they are a delivery lead in supply chain – have cost analyst – driving several implementations at a time. Example of driving several projects at a time is 3-4 over the course of 1-3 years...they are NOT looking for a person who had 1-2 projects no matter the size over the course of 2-3 years. Manager likes to see Supply Chain people who had Technical employees report into them, big plus!

IT Program Manager Job description: As an IT Program Manager you must have knowledge and understanding of automotive industry and agile methodology. The IT Program Manager must be eager to excel at the intersection of interdisciplinary teams and act as the conduit between cross-functional efforts enabling unity and synergy across the organization. This position requires a well-rounded individual who is detail-oriented, hands-on experience in delivering complex large scale automotive projects and can manage multiple programs within IT portfolio while leading a team of business owners, product owners and stakeholders to successfully deliver multiple projects on time. The IT Program Manager is someone who can thrive in an agile automotive environment by fostering collaboration and distilling complex problems into actionable roadmaps, project plans, migration plans, and governance to help drive and implement a successful project/program portfolio delivery within automotive.

Responsibilities:

  • PMO track record of developing and presenting strategic insights within the automotive/EV space.
  • Collaborate with IT project teams, product and key business stakeholders serving as program manager lead.
  • Drive PMO processes and governance and lead cross-functional teams to implement company-wide IT solutions, projects and programs.
  • Drive and manage the OKR process establish and advance best practices for program and project management across the organization.
  • Lead the end-to-end program management of programs in a cross-functional, hyper-growth environment.
  • Partner with stakeholders and influence IT project teams to operationalize the implementation of program roadmaps, including documentation and driving all IT project meetings including PI planning.
  • Provide technical program support and implementation of technology solutions and procedures.
  • IT Program manager motivates and drives the team identifies project bottlenecks and proactively communicates and tracks resolution across the team portfolio.
  • Oversee the management of cross-program timelines, dependencies, decisions, and constraints by the project team.
  • Strong experience in engineering and program management with automotive OEMs.
  • Intricate knowledge of automotive product development lifecycles specific to EVs.
  • Excellent program management skills to navigate cross-functional trade-offs.
  • Experience in primarily a customer facing role in consistently meeting and exceeding customer expectations on project delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability of complex problem solving and over-achieving targets.
  • Establish and manage key performance indicators (KPI) metrics for all assigned projects.
  • Hands on experience in strategy, execution, and complex portfolio delivery.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of program management or PMO Lead experience in Automotive industry.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of related experience on delivering large complex projects at scale. Bachelor’s or master’s degree; or equivalent program management experience.
  • Demonstrates experience with IT PMO complex automotive implementations.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of program and project management tools such as, Jira, Microsoft Project, Confluence, Team Central, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet.
  • Must have experience in Financial/Budget Planning.
  • Must have experience in working with multi-vendor and multi product team.
  • Robust Program Management and Project Management skills and demonstrable experience in leveraging them appropriately.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated ability to mentor and effectively manage a team of product owners, business owners, engineers, and IT project teams.
  • Stellar communication skills and a demonstrable ability to lead and influence others.
  • PMP certification is a plus. 5 -10 years of Agile knowledge or Scrum Master, Agile Coach or RTE certifications are a plus.
