Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room Profession: RN Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Varied Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2+ Years of Hospital/Specialty Experience License: Active RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: - Strong neuro experience - OR experience in an acute care setting - Neurosurgery experience Description: Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience. Experience with high volume general and neuro surgeries is essential. The position involves a patient ratio of 1:1 in the OR. There will be 1-2 surgical techs available per case. Experience with robotic equipment is preferred. Familiarity with the Meditech documentation system is advantageous. Candidates must demonstrate a friendly and compassionate demeanor with patients. The facility will provide scrubs, and a professional dress code is required. Nail polish must be clean and healthy, with no artificial nails. Hair should be neat, and extreme styles or colors are not permitted. Beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and trimmed. Tattoos should be covered whenever possible. Visible piercings, other than ears, are prohibited. Floating guidelines and attendance policies apply to this position.
