You will handle claim submission, denial management, A/R follow-up, and patient collections — fully supported by an AI agent that handles up to 55% of routine task volume so you can focus on the work that requires expert judgment.Key ResponsibilitiesSubmit clean claims across Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers with ? 95% first-pass rateManage denial queues — identify root cause, correct, and resubmit within payer deadlinesWork aged A/R buckets proactively; keep A/R over 90 days below 15% of total A/RPerform patient collections and balance follow-ups with professionalism and HIPAA disciplineNavigate EMR and billing platforms (Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, Kareo, AdvancedMD, or equivalent)Collaborate with AI agent tools for claim prep, A/R aging analysis, and error-flag detectionDeliver weekly billing performance summaries to the client practice managerEnsure compliance with healthcare regulations and billing standards (e.g., HIPAA, ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS)Maintain detailed records of billing activities and update patient billing information regularlyEssential SkillsStrong knowledge of medical billing and coding, including ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codesFamiliarity with medical billing software and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systemsExcellent attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracyStrong problem-solving skills for resolving claim issues and payment discrepanciesEffective communication skills for interacting with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patientsAbility to work independently and manage tasks in a remote settingSolid understanding of healthcare privacy laws, such as HIPAA***Please note that this job post does not guarantee immediate client onboarding.
