About the Facility Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Altoona is an 80‑bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital that provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services with a wide base of physical rehabilitative care. About the Role We’re looking for a Registered Nurse who is inspired by the prospect of caregiving the way it should be. Responsibilities Provide direct care to inpatients, including conducting assessments and developing individualized plans of care that reflect each patient’s needs and goals. Supervise the care, treatment, and services provided by LPNs, RNTs, and other staff on assigned units and shifts. Communicate patient information with the interdisciplinary team and report patient concerns or changes in condition to supervisors and/or physicians in a timely manner. Schedule Flexible schedule built together, including working every third weekend.
