Production Technician

Production TechnicianThe Production Technician assembles, integrates, and tests single board computers, embedded PCs, panel PCs, industrial chassis, workstations, and data acquisition products in a cleanroom manufacturing environment. This role follows detailed work instructions and quality standards to ensure all industrial computer systems meet specifications and operate reliably, while maintaining tools, equipment, and an organized work area.ResponsibilitiesPerform assembly and testing of single board computers, embedded PCs, panel PCs, industrial chassis, workstations, PC140 modules, and data acquisition products as assigned by the production supervisor.Install and integrate components such as printed circuit boards (PCBs), CPUs, memory modules, cables, and other hardware into industrial computer systems and embedded platforms.Confers with quality assurance personnel to ensure proper and efficient integration of industrial PC components and adherence to quality standards.Collaborate with production support technicians to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the proper operation of equipment under test.Examine parts, boards, and accessories for conformance to specifications and promptly alert quality assurance personnel when nonconformances or defects are identified.Follow detailed work instructions, bills of materials (BOMs), and documented procedures during assembly, inspection, and testing activities.Perform system testing to verify functionality, record test results, and document configurations for quality control and traceability.Conduct visual and functional inspections, quality checks, and verification of assembled units prior to packaging and shipment.Maintain tools, test equipment, and assigned work area in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.Prepare finished units for packaging and shipment, ensuring proper handling and protection of products.Adhere strictly to the quality management system, including all applicable production, inspection, and documentation practices.Follow cleanroom protocols and good manufacturing practices to maintain product quality and a controlled production environment.Essential SkillsAt least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.Hands-on experience with production, general labor, and assembly activities in a technical or industrial setting.Ability to perform computer assembly, including installing PCBs, CPUs, memory, cables, and related components.Experience working on an assembly line or in general production, following standardized processes and workflows.Proficiency in using hand tools for assembly, installation, and adjustment of components.Ability to inspect boards, parts, and accessories for defects and conformance to specifications.Experience performing quality checks, inspection, and basic testing of assembled products.Capability to follow detailed work instructions and bills of materials (BOMs) accurately and consistently.Comfort working in a cleanroom environment and following cleanroom procedures.Ability to document test results and configurations clearly for quality control purposes.Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards.Ability to collaborate effectively with quality assurance personnel and production support technicians to resolve issues.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience assembling industrial computers and embedded systems is highly beneficial.Familiarity with data acquisition products and PC modules used in industrial applications.Understanding of basic electronics and computer hardware components.Experience with packaging, packing, and preparing finished units for shipment.Knowledge of general production and compounding processes in a manufacturing environment.Ability to maintain good manufacturing practices and follow established quality management procedures.Strong organizational skills for maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas.Effective communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional production and quality teams.Why Work Here?Employees enjoy access to location-specific perks such as event outings, team-building programs, and bonuses when applicable.
