Registered Nurse - Pediatric and Oncology

Location: Asheville, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Registered Nurse (RN) to join our pediatric and oncology unit. This position encompasses patient care responsibilities for both pediatric and oncology patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric and oncology patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes appropriately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• Required certifications: PALS, BLS, and APHON (for oncology).
• Preferred: Pediatric experience in a hospital setting and pediatric oncology experience.
