492703 424 - Nursing Faculty: Adjunct Part-Time On-site $1,610 - $1,987 per SHCI (Semester Hours of CreditInstruction) Overview: Salem State University Nursing School of Nursing invitesapplications for adjunct faculty with interest and experienceteaching Maternity or Pediatric Health in a clinical setting.Teaching assignments may include days, evenings, or weekends andrange from 6 to 15 hours/week over the course of thesemester. Duties and Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with faculty, in a school with future-directedleadership and a collective focus on academic excellence, successof our students and faculty development. Required Qualifications: Hold a current unencumbered Massachusetts Registered Nurselicense. Graduate degree in nursing. Minimum of five years of full-timeregistered nurse experience within the last eight years. Evidenceof clinical competency in clinical instruction. OR Hold a current unencumbered Massachusetts Registered Nurselicense. Possess a minimum of five years full-time registered nurseexperience within the last eight years. Baccalaureate degree in nursing and meet at least one of thefollowing criteria Matriculation in a graduate nursing program with expectedgraduation date within five years of the date of appointment. OR Possess a related non-nursing graduate degree. OR Possess a current Nurse Education Certification recognized by aMassachusetts Board certified organization.
