We are looking for an inspector with a keen eye for detail to monitor the quality of the products that we provide our customers. This person will be responsible for checking substrates for defects and imperfections at various points in the production process. In addition to inspection, they will be cross-trained to operate some of our precision finishing machines.To excel in this position, a candidate should have great focus, be attentive to detail and have the desire to constantly learn and improve individually as well as with a team.Vishay Centerline is located in Hudson, Massachusetts. There are around 20 employees in this machine shop operation and it is a first shift operation. This role is an on-site position.What you will be doing:Inspecting materials to print before, during, and after the production processCleaning and packing partsPopulating the Yield Analysis BoardDocumenting findingsUsing high & low powered microscopes, micrometers and calipersMaintain a clean work area and equipment in an orderly conditionCommunicating with the machine operators and management regularlyWhat you will bring along:High school diploma or equivalent required.Previous experience working in a production/manufacturing environment is preferredExcellent hand eye coordination and finger dexterity requiredDemonstrated experience handling small and fragile partsMust have a continuous improvement attitude and strong attention to detailSelf-motivated with a strong sense of personal ownership and a team attitudeWhat can we offer you for your talent:Vishay offers a comprehensive suite of benefit programs including health care coverage, financial support programs and other resources designed to help you achieve your personal and professional goals.
