Description

EWASTE+ is looking for a dependable, safety-focused Non-CDL or CDL driver to join our team. In this role, you’ll operate a 26ft box truck on scheduled routes, pick up electronic waste from our customers, and provide professional, courteous service while representing EWASTE+.

You won’t be doing it alone. Our drivers are paired with a Driver Helper who assists with customer pickups, loading, and unloading throughout the route.

Home Every Night - 4 hour driving radius

Job responsibilities include:

• Drive a non-CDL 26ft box truck on assigned routes using GPS and routed tablet manifests to complete customer pickups safely and on time.

• Work alongside a Driver Helper who assists with loading, unloading, and customer pickups.

• Load, assemble, wrap, and secure pallets of electronic waste for safe transportation.

• Label pallets with appropriate lot numbers and ensure materials are properly documented.

• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance and attitude when interacting with customers.

• Perform required DOT pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle documentation.

• Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and electric pallet jacks as needed.

• Keep assigned vehicles clean, organized, and in safe operating condition.

• Monitor vehicle condition and promptly report maintenance needs, damage, accidents, or malfunctions to management.

• Maintain required vehicle documentation, including proof of insurance, registration, and company fuel cards.

• Follow all company safety procedures and applicable local, state, and Department of Transportation regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED.

• At least 1 year of box truck driving experience.

• Previous non-CDL box truck driving experience.

• Valid DOT Medical Card.

• Ability to meet DOT driver requirements.

• Strong attention to safety, organization, and accurate recordkeeping.

• Dependable, professional, and customer-service oriented.

• Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not required

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay Rate: $23.00–$27.00 per hour

Pre-Employment Requirements

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of all required pre-employment screenings. Qualified applicants must be able to pass a DOT-required drug screening, as well as a criminal background check.

Education and Experience:

• HS Diploma or GED

• Non CDL box truck driving experience

• 1+ years driving box trucks

• Previous warehouse experience a plus but not required

• DOT Med Card

Physical Demands:

• Regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds unassisted

• Stand for extended periods of time

• Climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

• Work safely in a fast paced environment
