Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) in an active operating room environment
• Assist surgeons during operative procedures within an 8-bed surgical unit
• Maintain perioperative patient safety standards throughout the surgical continuum of care
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and effective patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility dress code and utilize facility-provided scrubs during all shifts

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current First Assist Operating Room experience required
• Bachelor of Science degree required
• Active Massachusetts RN License required
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
• Active Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification required
• Must have personal reliable transportation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech Expanse electronic health records system highly preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in a perioperative or surgical setting
