Ready for a Purpose Built Career For over 60 years OBrien Construction has worked to enhance the quality of our communities through our expertise as team builders and constructors specializing in multi family housing municipal and commercial buildings We are a Construction Manager and General Contractor with a mission to develop lasting relationships built on mutual trust and respect OBrien Construction builds so much more than senior living and multifamily housing Were building trust pride and a better world than it was yesterday one job at a time Because thats what it means to be Purpose Built Building a career is like building anything else it takes the right plan the right team and the right commitment When you work with OBrien Construction we can promise you will accomplish work youll be proud of work with great people and grow both the community and your career About the Role Project Managers at OBrien Construction lead and guide Project Teams in the successful execution of construction projects from initial estimating through final completion and close out We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a proven background in building licensed senior living communities including expertise in cold formed steel This role requires a deep understanding of regulatory compliance inspections life safety requirements and the coordination of specialized structural systems to deliver high quality compliant senior living environments Responsibilities Lead and manage all aspects of assigned construction projects ensuring they are completed on time within budget and to the highest quality standards Develop and maintain detailed project schedules monitor progress and identify and mitigate potential risks Primary point of contact for clients architects engineers subcontractors and other stakeholders Ensure adherence to all safety regulations best practices and company policies Review and approve subcontractor proposals and manage subcontractor performance Prepare and analyze project budgets track costs and identify and resolve cost variances Conduct regular project meetings and communicate effectively with all team members Proactively identify and resolve project challenges and implement solutions Maintain a thorough understanding of project plans specifications and contracts Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the project team Continuously improve project management processes and seek opportunities for innovation Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma required; Bachelors Degree in Construction Management Engineering or a related field preferred Minimum five 7 years of experience in construction project management including experience with construction scheduling cost control project accounting logistics planning and risk management Demonstrated experience with multifamily or senior living framing systems in multi family or senior living construction Experience managing licensed senior living construction projects eg independent living assisted living memory care or skilled nursing including familiarity with applicable codes inspections and regulatory requirements Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills Excellent problem solving and decision making abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong work ethic attention to detail and a commitment to safety Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary and benefits packagePaid time off tuition reimbursement and opportunities for career advancement #J-18808-Ljbffr Laurus
