Quality Specialist The Quality Specialist will support the Quality Department by ensuring that all employees understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This role involves assisting in the implementation of HACCP, allergen, sanitization, and other programs within the Quality Management System. Additionally, the Quality Specialist will oversee the completeness and accuracy of in-process batch records and review labeling and packaging to ensure regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Support the Quality Department in understanding and following SOPs. Assist in implementing HACCP, allergen, and sanitization programs. Oversee the completeness and accuracy of in-process batch records. Review labeling and packaging for regulatory compliance. Ensure adherence to good documentation practices. Essential Skills 3+ years of experience in Quality Compliance. Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and Environmental sanitation programs. Experience with SQF, ISO, GMP, HACCP or similar certifications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management. Understanding of regulatory compliance and quality control. Additional Skills & Qualifications Associate's Degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field. Bachelor's degree preferred. Work Environment The position is based in a manufacturing environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hunt Valley, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
