The Shift Manager proactively ensures environmental compliance with federal, state and local agencies and is responsible for the full development and coaching of team members, station assets and maintaining assets to the standards of Constellation.Responsible during an assigned shift for supervising the Technicians in the overall operation, maintenance and technical troubleshooting of power plant equipment in a safe, continuous, efficient, and economical manner.Oversee the replacement or repair of mechanical and/or electrical equipment and the installation, calibration, maintenance and repair of instrumentation.Responsible for the implementation of the conduct of operations to meet the standards listed in Operation fundamentals.Facilitate in group decision-making and team buildingAdhere to and apply company policies in all dealings with employees.Responsible for the management of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) costs.Support planned/unplanned organizational issues with availability for on call and accept calls at all hours regarding changing plant conditionsAdminister Asset Suite 9 (AS9) and Work Management Process.All other job assignments and/or duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management to include but not limited to: (Department duty coverage and/or call out, and positions outside of department in support of outage activities etc.)Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline with 5 years related experienceHigh school diploma/GED with 9 years related experienceMaintain minimum access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position dutiesExperience in maintenance and work managementTechnical experience related to power generation equipment auxiliariesExperience with Asset Suite 9 (AS9)
