Job Description: Yard Driver Schedule: Sunday – Thursday, 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM What You’ll Do Perform a complete safety and mechanical check of the yard truck and trailers prior to movement Operate the yard truck to move trailers, including: Backing up to trailers and making fifth wheel connections Raising and lowering landing gear Installing and removing wheel chocks Positioning trailers in designated dock or yard locations Safely disconnect trailers and secure equipment after placement Operate a forklift to assist with cross-dock loads as needed Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including general housekeeping duties Development Opportunity: After 90 days, Ace may offer CDL School opportunities to qualified candidates based on performance and interest.
