Commercial Lender

Our client is a startup entrepreneurial financial institution launching in the Phoenix market, focused on delivering highly personalized banking solutions to high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, business owners, and closely held companies. This is an opportunity for an experienced commercial lender to join an organization in its early stages of growth and play a meaningful role in building the Phoenix market. The ideal candidate will bring a strong commercial lending background, an established network, and an entrepreneurial mindset. Key Responsibilities Build and grow a commercial loan portfolio through new business development and relationship expansion Develop trusted relationships with high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, business owners, executives, and investors Originate, structure, and manage C&I and CRE transactions Provide customized financing solutions aligned with clients' personal and business objectives Identify opportunities to deepen relationships across commercial and private banking services Underwrite and present credits while maintaining sound credit discipline Develop referral relationships with centers of influence, professional advisors, and other key contacts Help establish the institution's presence and reputation in the Phoenix market Work closely with senior leadership to build a relationship-driven, entrepreneurial banking platform Ideal Background 7+ years of commercial banking and lending experience Proven track record of commercial loan production and business development Experience working with high-net-worth clients, entrepreneurs, and privately held businesses Strong C&I and/or CRE lending experience Established network within the Phoenix business community Strong credit, underwriting, and structuring skills Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to help build something from the ground up Ability to provide a highly consultative, relationship-focused client experience Why This Opportunity This is a chance to join a new, entrepreneurial banking platform where an experienced lender can have a significant impact on the growth and direction of the Phoenix market.
