Schedule/Hours

• Travel assignment; specific shift details provided during interview

Qualifications & Experience

• California licensed RN with emergency department (ER) experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC certifications required; TNCC/ATCN/CEN preferred
• Proficient in assessment and care planning for patients from birth through geriatric groups
• Strong communication skills; adept with SBAR and multidisciplinary collaboration
• Knowledgeable in infection control, safety standards, and patient rights
• Previous experience with ED documentation systems highly valued

Primary Responsibilities

• Rapid and thorough assessment of patients across the age continuum
• Creation, review, and update of individualized care plans throughout each shift
• Safe administration of medications, including high-risk agents, per protocol
• Execution of treatments and procedures following hospital policy and standard precautions
• Accurate, legible documentation of care, medications, and patient teaching
• Patient/family education individualized to assessed needs
• Prompt recognition and escalation of clinical deterioration
• Adherence to hospital safety codes, disaster plans, and rapid response procedures
