Regulatory Manager

The Regulatory Manager is responsible for managing all regulatory filings and compliance obligations for broadband and VoIP services at the state and federal levels. This role oversees submissions to Public Utility Commissions (PUCs), the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and other relevant agencies, ensuring all filings are accurate, timely, and compliant. The position also manages grant reporting for state and federal broadband programs and performs internal compliance audits to verify adherence to company procedures and regulatory standards. Responsibilities Prepare, file, and track all regulatory submissions with state commissions, the FCC, and other government entities. Manage reporting for broadband and VoIP operations. Coordinate grant reporting and documentation for federal and state broadband funding programs (e.g., BEAD, CPF, ARPA, RDOF). Maintain an internal filing and tracking system to ensure all deadlines and renewal dates are met. Work with company officers to obtain signatures, certifications, and supporting documentation for filings. Conduct periodic internal compliance audits to ensure all business practices meet regulatory requirements. Collaborate with internal departments (engineering, finance, operations) to gather and validate data for filings and reports. Build and maintain professional relationships with regulatory agency contacts and grant administrators. Monitor and interpret relevant regulatory changes that may affect company operations. Prepare summaries and briefings for leadership on upcoming obligations or rule changes. Required Skills 2+ years of experience in telecommunications regulatory affairs, government filings, or compliance management.
