Radiology Tech – X-Ray Tech needed for a travel assignment in Templeton, California. Start date: 09/28/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,585–$2,699 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,585–$2,699 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 5x8 days, day shift Start date: 09/28/2026 Work setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital travel assignment Extension opportunities may be available Responsibilities Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs as ordered by physicians Position patients and instruct them prior to examinations; adjust exposure parameters to achieve optimal images Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging; explain procedures as needed Prepare examination rooms and maintain equipment readiness for imaging Document exam information and verify exams in the PACS system; communicate important details to the interpreting physician Adhere to imaging safety standards and quality control procedures Requirements Licenses: California Radiologic Technologist license to practice in CA (RT/ARRT-R credentialing as applicable) Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Licensure timing: Fluoroscopy license required in California within 6 months of hire Education: Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred Experience: Minimum of two years of recent radiology experience Other: Ability to work a day shift in a hospital setting and meet state practice requirements Benefits and Support Guaranteed hours 24/7 recruiter and travel support Housing assistance Extension opportunities Fast credentialing Nationwide assignments Dedicated support throughout the assignment PAY DISCLAIMER RULE Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
