Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Louisville, KY. This role requires skilled nursing care for patients with complex medical conditions and involves working in a collaborative hospital setting. Candidates should be prepared to provide thoughtful and attentive care to diverse patient populations with a variety of diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities of the PCU RN

• Provide care for patients with conditions such as COPD, CHF, and pneumonia
• Manage devices including Bipap, high flow oxygen, and chest tubes
• Administer drips such as milrinone and heparin
• Perform central line care, PIV starts, and blood product administration
• Collaborate with the healthcare team, including PCA/CNA, respiratory therapy, and hospitalists

Requirements of the PCU RN

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience, including 6 months in neuro
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications
• Vistelar training completion
