Job Description
ECU Health Physicians, Maynard Children's Hospital, and the Department of Pediatrics at East Carolina University's Brody School of Medicine, located in Greenville, North Carolina, are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatric Pulmonologist to join their growing division of Pulmonology & Sleep Medicine. From asthma to cystic fibrosis and sleep apnea, Maynard Children's Hospital offers pulmonology care for infants and children with both short-term and chronic respiratory problems.
Dual-Boarded in Pediatric Pulmonology & Sleep Medicine applicants will also be considered. Job Highlights include:

• State-of-the-art 142-bed children's hospital offering 20 pediatric sub-specialists and a 71-bed Level IV NICU

• Established division inclusive of 3 physicians, pediatric social worker, pediatric nutritionists, and pediatric respiratory therapists
• Inpatient and outpatient clinical care
• Numerous opportunities for professional growth and leadership potential including accredited cystic fibrosis affiliate program, multidisciplinary pediatric asthma team, care program for children with complex medical conditions, pediatric sleep medicine program
• Opportunities for teaching and research within the Brody School of Medicine, including a dedicated research initiative within the department of Pediatrics
• Broad collaboration with multiple pediatric subspecialists within the Pediatric Specialty Clinic.
• Dedicated on-site laboratory and clinical support team including social worker, nutritionist, and mental health counseling within the specialty clinic
• Support for bronchoscopy including dedicated 24-hour on-site support staff for managing equipment and providing assistance during procedures
• Excellent clinical support for the pulmonary division including 2 nurses, medical assistant and respiratory therapist, and administrative support
• Full range of pediatric services including pediatric anesthesia, PICU, NICU, transitional care unit, and children's hospitalist program
• Opportunities to participate in pediatric pulmonary and asthma outreach clinics within the region
