ExcelPrep is seeking an experienced, mission-driven Behavior Specialist to support neurodiverse learners aged 3–13 in a full-time, on-site contract position. Grounded in structured, research-based practices, our program prioritizes academic and social success for all students. As a Behavior Specialist, you’ll collaborate closely with ABA, occupational therapy, teaching teams, and families to deliver high-impact interventions in a nurturing educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and create individualized Behavior Intervention Plans aligned with students’ needs.
• Implement and monitor ABA-based interventions to build language, reasoning, executive function, social competence, and independence.
• Analyze data using Precision Teaching and Direct Instruction methods to drive instructional decisions and track progress.
• Integrate sensory-motor supports and cognitive-linguistic strategies, working synergistically with speech and occupational therapy services.
• Train and mentor staff on direct instruction and data-driven approaches, modeling effective strategies for paraprofessionals and clinicians.
• Provide on-site behavioral therapy, supervise RBTs/BCaBAs, and facilitate robust parent and team communication.
• Ensure adherence to ethical standards and program fidelity while keeping current with advances in behavioral and instructional research.
• Engage in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance service quality and outcomes.

What We’re Looking For:

• BCBA, BCaBA, or equivalent ABA experience (required); eligibility to sit for certification welcome.
• At least 2–3 years of clinical experience working with neurodiverse children in educational or ABA settings.
• Expertise in ABA, data collection/analysis, and proven behavior intervention planning.
• Preferred experience with Direct Instruction, Precision Teaching, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Strong communicator skilled in team-based work and family partnerships.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy principles; bilingual skills a plus.
