Responsibilities WOW Position — This is a WOW (Work on Weekends) position. Schedules include every weekend (Nights – Friday & Saturday, Days – Saturday & Sunday). Employees in designated WOW positions earn premium pay in addition to their competitive hourly rates and shift differential. A professional nurse is accountable for the care of a group of patients. The RN focuses on safe, effective, patient and family‑centered care, customer satisfaction and quality outcomes. The RN assists in maintaining a financially stable unit, promotes personal development with an emphasis on evidence‑based practice, and mentors staff. The RN applies the caring processes of the Kristin M. Swanson Model of Care to assess, develop, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
