Job Site Foreman

Job Description Job Description Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Job Site Foreman to lead field crews on grading, excavation, and general construction projects in the Tulsa area with ability to operate heavy equipment proficiently. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for day-to-day crew management, production, safety, and quality on active job sites. Position Job Site Foreman Work Type Grading, Excavation & General Construction Location Tulsa, Oklahoma Area Employment Full-Time Schedule Monday-Friday (overtime available) Reports To Project Manager / Superintendent Rate TBD Based on Experience ($29 - $32 p/hr) Responsibilities - Direct and supervise field crews of laborers, equipment operators, and subcontractors daily - Manage job site operations to meet production schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements - Read and interpret construction plans, grade sheets, and specifications; communicate work scope clearly to crew - Conduct daily toolbox talks and enforce all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies - Serve as OSHA competent person for excavation and trenching operations - Coordinate equipment, materials, and manpower needs with project management - Track daily production, crew hours, and material usage; submit accurate daily reports - Communicate directly with inspectors, owners, and general contractors as needed - Identify and resolve field conflicts — grade issues, utility conflicts, site conditions — in a timely manner - Maintain a professional job site — clean, organized, safe, and productive Requirements - Minimum 5 years of field experience in grading, excavation, or general construction with ability to operate heavy equipment proficiently. - Minimum 2 years in a foreman or lead supervisory role - Ability to read and interpret civil construction plans, grade stakes, and cut sheets - OSHA 30 Construction certification (or ability to obtain) - OSHA competent person knowledge for excavation and trenching - Strong crew leadership and communication skills - Valid Oklahoma driver's license - Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check - Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Preferred Qualifications - Experience with underground utility installation (water, sewer, storm drain) - GPS/grade control system experience (Trimble, Topcon, GPS, etc.) - CDL license (Class A or B) - Experience managing crews of 5 or more in a fast-paced construction environment - Proficient in operating heavy equipment.
