Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts patients’ well‑being and recovery. Assessment: Conduct admission and ongoing assessment of patients, meet physical, psychological, and spiritual needs, and notify physicians of changes in condition. Planning: Design, direct, evaluate, and document care plans, teach patients/families, and coordinate transitions of care for safe discharge. Work with other disciplines for specialized patient needs. Implementation: Prepare patients physically, psychologically, and spiritually for treatments; implement safety initiatives, medication protocols, and physician orders. Evaluation: Reassess patients at appropriate intervals, notify physicians as necessary, and adjust care to meet emerging needs. Report Skills: Give and receive bedside shift reports with family participation, ensuring accurate continuity of care. Environment & Patient Safety: Maintain a safe work environment, promptly remove used equipment, and report hazards immediately. Job Requirements Required Associate of Occupational Science in Nursing or equivalent diploma. At least one (1) year of RN experience upon hire. Demonstrated competence in RN performance expectations, meeting experience requirements upon hire. Registered Nurse in TX license upon hire. Basic Life Support (CPR) certification within 14 days of hire. Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Nursing upon hire.
