8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. Weekday and weekend call rotation, as well as holiday call rotation, are required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. The candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pre-operative and post-operative care of patients.
• Ensure adherence to surgical protocols and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with surgical team members to provide efficient patient care.
• Facilitate surgical interventions, managing instruments and supplies during surgery.
• Rotate through various surgical specialties and respond to emergent cases as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2-3 years of nursing experience in an operating room setting.
• 2-3 previous travel assignments in a clinical role.
• Must possess BLS, ACLS certifications; PALS is preferred.
• Experience in orthopedic surgeries and robotic surgical assistance.
• Proficiency with EPIC charting.
