ISU is seeking a dynamic Customer Support Specialist / Member Services Associate in Charleston, SC. This position is a hybrid position for the right candidate.

The Member Service Associates have a direct impact on key business outcomes such as client retention, client satisfaction, process improvement and product and service development

You'll be working with a team of fun, experienced insurance professionals in the U.S. and Australia. The right candidate will have significant opportunities for career growth and advancement. This role reports directly to the Member Service Director.

The Member Services Associate's primary role is to support ISU's Network of over 200 members. This will be done by serving as an initial contact for customer service related calls and emails, fielding questions, issues, etc., while delivering an exceptional customer service experience for our members.

To be successful in this role, you need to have excellent attention to detail and accuracy; the ability to communicate clearly, and think logically.. You also need to be familiar with computers and customer service software. Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred, but not required. A high school diploma or equivalent is a minimum requirement.

Responsibilities

• As a Member Services Associate, you will be a primary point of contact for our members
• You'll be responsible for answering questions, resolving problems, processing documents and maintaining member files in Salesforce
• You'll work directly with our members to provide login access to our carrier partners
• And contribute to Identifying opportunities for growth and process improvement within our platform

Qualifications

• Previous Insurance Agency, Wholesaler or Carrier experience preferred
• Salesforce and AMS360 experience a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are critical
• Teamwork and collaboration skills
• High school diploma

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
