Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 10-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | Rotational Call Coverage

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care within a cardiovascular operating room setting as part of a dedicated Heart Team
• Participate in rotational call coverage, which may include one call shift per week and either a Saturday or Sunday (not both) for weekend call, structured as 24-hour call
• Assist with robotic-assisted cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes throughout all phases of the operative experience

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 3 years of verifiable CVOR experience
• Robotic surgical experience required
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working within a structured Heart Team or dedicated cardiovascular surgical program
• Familiarity with a variety of cardiovascular surgical procedures and related instrumentation
