Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist

About the Role Veterinary Emergency + Referral Center of Hawaii (VERC) seeks an Internist to join our 24‑hour veterinary emergency and specialty team. The Internist will be board‑certified or residency‑trained, stay current with medical guidance, and collaborate with specialists, emergency veterinarians, technicians, and client‑care staff. Qualifications Board‑certified veterinary internist or residency‑trained. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Motivated, energetic, and able to work well with a cohesive team. Knowledge of changing medical guidance in internal medicine. Compensation and Benefits Base salary: $190,000 – $240,000 annually, depending on experience and board certification. Signing bonus, relocation allowance, and tailored relocation assistance. Biannual travel stipend for visiting family/friends. Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with employer match, paid time off (including sick time). Other benefits vary by location; for Colorado employees includes paid sick and safe leave, public health emergency leave per state law.
