Bartender

Job Overview Upstream Brewing is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, craft beers, and cocktails to our customers. Responsibilities Create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for guests, ensuring their satisfaction and enjoyment throughout their visit Take customer orders, including both beverages and food, accurately and efficiently Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including craft beers, cocktails, and specialty drinks Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines while handling and serving beverages Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking and replenishing supplies as needed Engage with guests, build relationships, and provide exceptional customer service Assist in creating new and innovative drink recipes, while also maintaining consistency in taste and presentation Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and responsibly, following all cash-handling procedures Stay up-to-date with current industry trends, new products, and brewing techniques Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient service Adhere to all responsible serving and drinking regulations and policies Requirements Proven experience as a Bartender, preferably in a high-volume establishment Strong knowledge of mixology, craft beers, and wine, with the ability to recommend and pair beverages with food Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with customers Ability to multitask and work well under pressure, while maintaining a friendly and positive attitude Attention to detail in preparing and garnishing beverages, ensuring accuracy and consistency Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Knowledge of local and state alcohol serving regulations Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods of time About Upstream Brewing Founded in 1996, Upstream Brewing is a prominent brewpub located in the heart of Omaha, Nebraska.
