Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will be instrumental in assessing, diagnosing, and evaluating patients’ mental health needs. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Utilizing the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders to determine patient diagnoses and establish individualized care plans that reflect cultural diversity and address the unique needs of our patient population.
• Conducting continual assessments of patient progress and modifying treatment interventions as necessary to support mental health recovery.
• Maintaining accurate and timely treatment records using current technology while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and departmental procedures.
• Collaborating closely with patients and their families to create comprehensive treatment plans that prioritize desired outcomes and incorporate their feedback.
• Coordinating referrals and acting as a vital link between patients and external treatment providers, thereby enhancing care continuity.
• Providing education, supervision, and mentorship to students, interns, and volunteers to foster their professional development during their clinical training.
