Fiscal Support Specialist- Neighborhood Resource Cener

Job Description: Incumbents are responsible for performing specialized support activities for the divisions and programs of the Neighborhood Resource Center. The position involves skilled administrative work supporting compliance with and enforcement of the Unified Government Occupation Tax ordinance and various other ordinances as they apply to businesses. Thorough knowledge of tax and licensing ordinances and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS), and the ability to apply this knowledge in any given business situation are requirements that will be learned through extensive personal effort and on the job training. Performs a variety of clerical duties such as but not limited to answering phones; answering questions and providing information regarding services; taking in monies and assisting customers with payments; entering information into a variety of computer systems; performing specialized administrative support activities; providing clerical support; responding to customer complaints or requests for information; the preparation and processing of special assessments; process deposits and deposit reports; other duties as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications: Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Business or a closely related field and three years of experience related to the area of assignment; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
