Tool & Die Maker/CNC Machinist | Logan, UT

Nexeo Staffing is hiring an experienced Tool & Die Maker / CNC Machinist in Logan, UT! This is a great opportunity to work in a precision manufacturing environment building and repairing tooling, dies, and fixtures used in production. If you have experience with manual machining, CNC equipment, tight tolerances, and blueprint reading, this role offers competitive pay, a steady schedule, and long-term stability.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, and modify tooling, dies, jigs, and fixtures for production
• Set up and operate manual and CNC machines (lathes, mills, grinders, EDM)
• Work with tight tolerances and precision materials including carbide
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Troubleshoot tooling issues and perform adjustments or rework
• Perform heat treating, brazing, soldering, and polishing as needed
• Inspect finished components using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Collaborate with engineering on tooling improvements and new designs
• Create or edit basic CNC programs and document tooling changes
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 4+ years of experience in tool & die, machining, or toolroom environment
• Strong experience with CNC machines and/or manual machining equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T tolerances
• Experience working with tight tolerances and precision measurements
• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and inspection tools
• Basic computer skills for documentation and programming
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude

Pay

$26.67–$28.85 per hour

Schedule

Full Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
