Job Title

Registered Nurse – PACU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (0600–1830) | 3×12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week | No call, no weekends, no holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Recover patients from general and moderate sedation anesthesia in a post-anesthesia care unit setting
• Manage a caseload of approximately 30–50 cases per day
• Maintain patient ratios of 3:1 in Pre-Op and 2:1 in Recovery
• Apply ICU-level clinical skills throughout the perioperative recovery process
• Monitor and assess patient status post-procedure, intervening as clinically indicated

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Proficiency in all ICU-level clinical skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in high-volume perioperative environments
• Familiarity with both general anesthesia and moderate sedation recovery protocols
