Registered Nurse - Acute Care - Kearney, NE

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts (EOW). First to float with up to 2 extra mandatory shifts per 6 weeks. Weekend requirement: Every other weekend.

Job Description

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting. You will provide essential nursing care to patients in a 23-bed unit with a maximum ratio of 1:6 on nights. Your role will involve floating to the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for Medical-Surgical (MSU) assignments unless telemetry trained.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in accordance with patient needs and institute policies.
• Float to PCU for MSU assignments as required.
• Maintain communication with a team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• NIHSS certification
• Active RN license required for submission
