CNA/Patient Care Tech - Inpatient Unit PRN

Webster, Texas Houston Physicians Hospital, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a dedicated PRN Inpatient CNA/ Patient Care Tech to join our esteemed team. You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our patients, while upholding our core beliefs of value, integrity, continuity, accessibility, and community engagement.

Duties will include stocking, dressing patients, walking patients, assisting patients to the bathroom, answering call lights, answering phones, and, assisting Med/Surg RNs as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy experience
• Knowledge of patient care charts and patient histories
• Patient Interviewing skills
• Ability to perform standard clinical procedures according to established protocols
• Knowledge of patient evaluation procedures
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
• Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understands principles of aseptic technique and their implementation
