ACCREDITATION SPECIALIST

Description Of Duties/Essential Functions Assigned to a residential unit, develops, implements, and evaluates individual habilitation plans for persons with developmental disabilities in a case load. Co‑chairs interdisciplinary team meetings. Integrates center and community‑based services as part of the service plan. Ensures training is provided. Monitors and evaluates programs; communicates professionally with parents, guardians, schools, and other service providers. Conducts in‑service training for staff. Minimum Requirements Must meet minimum requirements for Qualified Mental Retardation Professional (QMRP). Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a human services field and one year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities. Work Hours & Location 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; two late days 12:30 PM – 9:30 PM; two early days per month 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM; plus one Saturday or one Sunday per month. Residential unit.
