Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current and valid RN licensure
• Demonstrated experience in Operating Room (OR) nursing
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), with ACLS preferred
• Strong understanding of sterile techniques and surgical procedures
• Collaborative approach to working with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Circulate and scrub during a variety of surgical cases, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency
• Conduct thorough assessments and prepare patients for surgery, maintaining accurate documentation
• Monitor patients’ conditions and vital signs throughout the perioperative phases
• Adhere strictly to infection control and hospital safety protocols
• Effectively communicate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow staff to anticipate and meet the needs of both patient and surgical team
• Support post-operative care and assist with patient recovery as needed
