Part-Time Inventory Audit Assistant – Morning Hours

Starting pay: $15 per hour
Schedule: Part-time, primarily weekday mornings
Applicants must be 21 or older

Barmetrix helps bars and restaurants improve profitability through accurate beverage inventory audits and detailed reporting. We are looking for a dependable, trustworthy person to assist with inventory counts at client locations throughout the Triangle.

This is a hands-on position that requires accuracy, consistency, and the ability to work independently. Many audits are completed during early-morning hours before the businesses open, so punctuality and respect for our clients’ properties are essential.

What You’ll Do

• Count and measure beer, wine, and liquor inventory
• Use scales, scanning equipment, and inventory software
• Follow established counting procedures to ensure accurate results
• Organize and verify inventory information
• Identify and report possible counting discrepancies
• Work independently or alongside another auditor
• Treat every client’s property, products, and confidential information with care

What We’re Looking For

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Dependable, punctual, and available during morning hours
• Honest and trustworthy when working in businesses without direct supervision
• Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy
• Able to follow procedures consistently
• Organized, efficient, and comfortable working independently
• Respectful, professional, and conscientious
• Comfortable using basic technology and learning new software
• Reliable transportation to client locations
• Able to stand, bend, reach, and lift cases of product as needed

Restaurant, bar, inventory, warehouse, or auditing experience is helpful but not required. We will train the right person. Reliability, integrity, and attention to detail are more important than previous experience.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys structured work, takes pride in getting the details right, and can be trusted to complete the job properly without constant supervision.
