Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This itinerant position focuses on conducting thorough, meaningful evaluations as you travel between educational sites to ensure students receive the services they need to thrive academically and physically.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current license as a Physical Therapist (PT) in the state
- Previous experience providing PT services within a school setting strongly preferred
- Expertise in administering and interpreting physical therapy evaluations
- Ability to develop individualized treatment recommendations based on assessments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaborating thoughtfully with educators and families
- Organized, flexible, and able to manage a caseload that spans multiple locations
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel between assigned schools or educational centers on an itinerant basis
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students referred for physical therapy support
- Develop clear, actionable evaluations aligned with federal, state, and district guidelines
- Consult with multidisciplinary teams to share insights, recommendations, and strategies
- Maintain accurate records and contribute meaningful data to support educational planning
- Communicate findings and plans clearly to teachers, staff, and family members
- Ensure services comply with all regulations and timelines for exceptional student support
