Senior Tax Accountant / Tax Manager

Bell & Associates is partnering with a well-established CPA and wealth management firm in the Des Moines area that is looking to add an experienced Senior Tax Accountant or Tax Manager to its growing team. What You'll Do Prepare and review individual, partnership, S-Corporation, corporation, and trust tax returns Provide tax planning and advisory services to individuals and closely held businesses Prepare financial statements and assist with client accounting services Work with bookkeeping, QuickBooks, payroll, and payroll tax filings Assist with sales tax compliance and other business consulting services Research tax issues and communicate recommendations to clients Mentor and review the work of junior staff Partner directly with firm leadership on client engagements What We're Looking For 5+ years of public accounting experience Strong experience preparing 1040, 1065, 1120S, and 1041 tax returns Experience with tax planning and client advisory services Background in bookkeeping, QuickBooks, and client accounting services preferred Payroll and sales tax experience is a plus CPA or CPA candidate preferred Strong communication skills and a client-first mindset Why This Opportunity Stands Out Additional incentive compensation for bringing in new business 40-hour workweeks outside of tax season , with approximately 52-hour weeks during the January-April busy season Company-paid continuing education and professional licenses Collaborative team with direct exposure to firm leadership A clear path for professional growth, leadership, and long-term career advancement #J-18808-Ljbffr Bell & Associates, Inc.
