Job Description
Job Title: Radiology Technologist
Profession: Allied

Hours per Shift: 36 hours (9 PM - 9 AM, every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday)
Experience: Minimum of 1 year required
License: Not required
Certifications: BLS; ARRT (R)(CT)
Must-Have: A minimum of 1 year of experience; BLS; ARRT (R)(CT)

Description:
This facility has 182 licensed beds and a Trauma Level IV Designation.
It operates as a teaching hospital and is recognized as a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center.
Travelers must have a permanent address that is 50 miles outside of their home unit.
The department averages 325 patients per day across modalities.
The position is open to first-time travelers.
Patients will have a variety of diagnoses that include Emergency Department, Inpatient, and Outpatient cases.
All modalities will require a photo ID collected during the compliance process.
NC State Licensure is not required.
Skills and experience may vary based on the modality discussed during the interview.
Support within the department includes Nursing and Transport.
The Electronic Medical Record system used is EPIC.
Department-specific equipment includes Siemens and GE.
Floating to other areas is not required.
Scheduling will depend on the position discussed during the interview.
Call requirements will also depend on the modality discussed.
Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays.
Request time off will require manager approval.
Shift times and scheduling will be outlined in the e-form request.
The department culture emphasizes high-volume settings with team accountability for patient-centered care.
Uniform color is black scrubs.
