About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Technician Assistant Profession: Tech Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating schedule Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Week 1) / Call coverage (Week 2) Experience: Two years in a healthcare setting License: BLS Certifications: RCIS or ARRT(VI) or RTRCI Must-Have: - Invasive cardiology - Hemodynamic pressures - Cath lab procedures - Clinical competency - Patient care assignments Description: The Cath Lab Technician Assistant assists in preparing patients for procedures. This role involves scrubbing procedures and monitoring hemodynamic pressures. The Technician demonstrates professional development and clinical competency. Utilizes the invasive cardiology process to assist in preparing the procedure room and patient. Addresses health educational needs for patients, families, and other health care providers. Manages patient care assignments along with other organizational tasks related to patient and unit operations. Applies knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions. Performs other related duties as needed. Accepts accountability for results. Continually improves care and service. Demonstrates stewardship of resources. Respects every person.
