General Maintenance Technician: Full-Time

Shift/Hours: Nights, 10:45pm - 6:45am. Will work 6 days a week with 1 day off a week. 0.95 Shift differential. ~ Relocation assistance may be available. Performs routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on electrical and mechanical systems involving production equipment and plant systems including PLCs. Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, compressor, and vacuum systems. Work on motors, conveyors, AC/DC, and PLC troubleshooting. Will work with steam and boiler controls, and mechanical power drives. Perform predictive and preventative maintenance activities. Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures. Strong Electrical aptitude required with extensive troubleshooting experience. Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery including motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems. PLC troubleshooting and problem-solving ability preferred. Must be able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings. Must be fully computer literate with Microsoft environment. Ability to work weekends & overtime. Basic mathematical skills and basic technology/computer skills. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Military training and/or Technical School preferred. The starting rate is$29.79-$37.23 per hour, depending on your role, level, and location.
