We have an opening for a full-time Bus Driver.Pay $15/hr and up, based on experienceLakeview Bus Drivers are responsible for provides safe and timely on-campus and off-campus transportation assistance to Lakeview residents. Assists other staff members for resident/community events as needed.Why join us?Competitive payFull benefits packagePaid Time-OffPaid holidaysRetirement plan with employer matchEducation assistanceOn-site childcareFitness center and poolIdeal candidates will have the following qualifications & skills:High School Diploma or GED is required.Must have at least a Class B or Class C Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger endorsements, or be willing to obtain one; must maintain all legal requirements for keeping a valid CDL.Must have current CPR certification.Customer service experience is preferred.Demonstrates good communications skills, including but not limited to effective reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills, with a fluent understanding of English.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks appropriately, and exercise sound judgement where procedures cannot be standardized.Must demonstrate excellent safety judgement and problem-solving skills.Ability to administer and follow straightforward written or verbal instructions.Ability to interpret bus schedules.Ability to learn the mechanics of a bus.Possesses an empathetic approach to the elderly.Able to work in a team setting with residents, relatives, staff, and others.Able to meet the physical demands of the job:The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
