Opening Date: 05/19/2026 Closing Date: 6/2/2026 4:00 PM Mountain FLSA: Non-Exempt Description / Position Overview Senior Equipment Operator - Drainage Operation About the Job: The City of Colorado Springs is ready to welcome multiple Senior Equipment Operator's to the Drainage Operation team for Public Works Operations Maintenance Division. As a Senior Equipment Operator for this team, you will perform a variety of skilled construction and maintenance tasks to construct and maintain the City's roadway and drainage infrastructure. You will also operate and maintain heavy machinery for installation, maintenance, and repair of drainage systems. Tasks include excavation, land clearing, and infrastructure maintenance to manage water flow, prevent flooding, and ensure public safety. Anticipated Schedule: 6:30AM - 5:00PM. Either Monday - Thursday or Tuesday - Friday depending on crew assignment after hire. We're an accredited pay equity employer!
